At the Train Station, Dún Laoghire, Ireland

Painted in 2021, this was my first international mural in Dún Laoghaire (Dublin, Ireland). The image I painted is based on an archive picture from the 30s of a group of boys waiting at the local train station for American boxer Gene Tuney. When I paint a wall I like to be very specific about the place I’m painting at and create a mural that couldn’t be anywhere else and that tells about the individual and collective memories of a community.
