Parees Festival, Oviedo – Spain

This is a mural I painted in Oviedo for Parees Fest. The theme was the women from the local market “las verduleras del Fontán”, I based this painting on a black and white photograph from 1968 by Francisco Ruiz Tilve. This was tallest wall I’ve pointed so far and it was also a great challenge to bring color to a black and white image on such a large scale.
